This free workshop is designed for newcomers to British Columbia who want to understand how to rent safely, legally, and affordably. You'll learn where to search for housing, how to protect your rights as a tenant, and how to find reasonably priced rental options. We’ll also cover key support programs, including BC Housing, rental assistance subsidies, housing cooperatives, and emergency or transitional housing options.
