The webinar will be in English, with Persian interpretation. Learn the basics of BC Income Assistance and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) benefits, including eligibility, applications, income, and asset rules. Explore PWD designation requirements, student assistance considerations, and different asset types. Understand the appeals process and available resources and supports. The workshop concludes with an interactive Q&A session. This event is hosted by S.U.C.C.E.S.S. BC Newcomer Services Program, funded by the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills. Our program supports work permit holders, study permit holders, refugee claimants, CUAET visa holders, BC Provincial Nominees and PNP Entrepreneur Immigration candidates, and naturalized Canadian citizens.
